SRE Freelance Projects

As a freelance Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you’ll join our exceptional team at MeteorOps. Our mission is to enable companies the freedom to build great software, with MeteorOps as their trusted competitive advantage.

Projects Include:

• Building and maintaining highly reliable, scalable, and secure production environments
• Developing and implementing robust incident management and resolution processes
• Creating infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions for scalable deployments
• Enhancing systems observability with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools
• Optimizing system performance, resource utilization, and overall reliability
• Designing and implementing disaster recovery and failover strategies
• Collaborating with developers to establish reliable service-level objectives (SLOs) and service-level indicators (SLIs)
• Automating manual processes for operational excellence and efficiency

Here’s what we’d expect you to bring to the table

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an SRE, DevOps engineer, or similar role
• Deep understanding of reliability, scalability, and system performance
• Proficient in infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Expertise in containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker
• Strong knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
• Solid programming skills, preferably in Python, Go, or a similar language
• Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines and release engineering
• Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive mindset
• Excellent collaboration, written communication, and time management skills
• Fluency in English, with additional language(s) a plus
